Halifax based group

It was a fantastic performance and I really enjoyed the spirit and energy you brought into the library. It was wonderful to see youth and children as a part of your group as well

we believe at the library, we have so much to learn from sharing between generations and between cultures! It was an honour to have you here!

Mutcho Cultural Group in partnership with Atlantic Council for International Cooperation would like to thank you for your support of the International Woman Celebration’s Day on March 11!
The event “WE STAND FOR AFRICAN WOMEN” was a Solidarity Africa fundraiser for clean water. This was an extraordinary cultural experience that engaged the community with drumming, dancing, a silent auction, and display tables.

Burundi Drummers and Sport

Janvier Nahimana one of he founder of Burundi drummers in Belgium is proud that after 15 years playing drums at Belgium athletic meeting he can start Halifax-based Drumming Group in partnership with ADAM and ANSA. More

"A new hit on the 35th edition of Memorial Van Damme

d-side was proud to support the famous 35th edition of the ‘Memorial Van Damme’ for which we were in  charge of the music show and the fireworks.  As every year, the ‘Drummers of Burundi’ took the athletes and the audience to the next level and gave Kenenisa Bekele the victory on the 10.000m. Bolt, Blake and the Borlée brothers dominated their sprint races.

A huge show of Soul Sister and the fireworks created a fantastic closing of a successful event.

Memorial Van Damme 2011 was definitely the world’s best meeting of the year!."

African Heritage Month 2016

I want to thank you again for the wonderful program on Saturday. Please extend our thanks to the entire group, dancers and drummers. The Library received some lovely comments about the program:"Excellent - really enjoyed it." "Fantastic! Again please!" "Fantastic wasn't long enough."
Sharing Burundi dance and drumming with the community is an important way to celebrate diversity. We appreciate Mutcho's contribution.

Good luck with the new drums, hope they arrive safely.
